Ground Truth Ag is an exciting, young, agtech company building products that generate realizable value using real-time grain quality data. We are adding to our multi-disciplinary team of scientists, engineers, and agriculture experts to continue building out our solutions. If you're a talented individual in your field that can communicate with people outside your discipline and love problem solving, we want you on our team.
We're looking for a full-time Grain Data Collector to grade and process grain samples for further study. This position requires a knowledge of the concepts used to grade grain and the use and maintenance of lab equipment. Training will be provided but experience is an asset.
This position could be for you if you have some experience in a lab setting, are comfortable with repetitive processes, have a high attention to detail and take pride in everything that you do.
Minimum qualifications:
- Be able to carry and move heavy bags of up to 50 lbs.
- Understand basic computer software ie: Excel, Word etc.
- Knowledge of grain grading process and some experience in a lab setting.
You'll be working on things like:
- Unpacking grain samples and entering sample data into a database
- Testing grains through various lab processes and recording results
- Photography of grain samples
- Testing the Ground Truth Ag product and recording results
- Cleaning and maintaining the lab and the equipment
Work conditions:
This position pays $18/hour to start and includes health and dental benefits. Office hours are Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 4:30pm with flexible time available to accommodate your schedule and the opportunity for overtime hours when required by the team.
