Description

MLCFA operates three therapeutic safe homes and one emergency placement home in the community that provide culture-based programs and services to community members. We are looking for a caring and responsible individual for a full-time management position for the Homes.  The manager will oversee operations of all 4 homes (two Childrens Home (4 children ages 0-11 years in each home), one Youth Home (4 youth ages 12-18 years) and one Emergency Placement Home).  The manager will report to the MLCFA Executive Director, and be accountable to the Board of Directors and elected officials.  

ACCOUNTABILITIES
PROGRAM ADMINISTRATION: the effective and efficient administration and day-to-day operation of the Home and for the development and provision of services to residents
SUPERVISION OF PROGRAM STAFF: the supervision of Home staff including making recommendations to hire, discipline and terminate employees
EVALUATION OF PROGRAM STAFF: ensuring evaluations (probationary and annual performance reviews and critical evaluations) are done accurately and in a timely fashion
MONITORING PERFORMANCE: ensuring that probationary and on-going performance is sufficiently monitored and appropriately evaluated
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT: approving and recommending annual budget requirements and revenues, the day-to-day administration of the Homes annual approved budget including personal approval of expenditures
CAPITAL RESOURCES: overseeing the prudent use of capital resources, assessing capital needs and budgeting for routine maintenance and repairs; budgeting for capital expenditures
  PROPOSALS: preparing CHRT 41 capital proposals as needed for equipment, renovations, or new construction
