Reporting to the Supervisor, Kitting/Assembly, the Kitter and Assembler employee will perform various production and assembly duties throughout the department.

Main Responsibilities:

*Stock work stations
*Review work orders
*Report material shortages
*Mark, record and report defects
*Operate measuring instruments.
*Read assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts list in preparation for work to be done.
*Assemble parts and components together using hand and power tools.
*Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements
*Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
*Other kitting and assembly duties as required

Education, Experience and Knowledge Required:

Grade 12 Diploma or GED equivalency

Combinations of education and experience may also be considered.

The successful applicant must have a superior work ethic, excellent time management skills, commitment to safety and a positive attitude. The work environment will include working alone or as part of a team and following safe work practices.
