Payroll Operations Specialists play a key role in executing payroll processing within Saskatchewan's health-care sector. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll for multiple organizations, adhering to collective agreements, and meeting regulatory standards. Reporting to the Payroll Operations Lead, the Specialist resolves payroll issues and contributes to process improvements, supporting payroll operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

-Executing payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and adherence to collective agreements, labor laws, and organizational policies;
-Support local payroll teams with data input, including timekeeping, deductions, and benefits;
-Investigating and resolving payroll discrepancies, providing timely responses to employee and management inquiries. Escalate complex issues as needed;
-Leveraging the Oracle Fusion Payroll system for efficient payroll -processing and system enhancements;
-Providing system support and troubleshooting for team members; and
-Identifying and implementing opportunities to streamline payroll processes and enhance efficiency, collaborating with team members to adopt best practices.
