Description

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Yorkton and Area is a charitable nonprofit dedicated to enabling live-changing mentoring programs that ignite the power and potential of young people. Join the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization and play a crucial role in shaping the future of youth in Yorkton and Area.
The Mentoring Caseworker will provide guidance and support for the community and school-based mentoring programs in Yorkton and the area by establishing and maintaining strong internal and external relationships and ensuring sound and innovative program practices.
Assist in planning and executing engaging fundraising and promotional activities that further mentoring.
Qualifications:
Must have a 2-year diploma in education, social or human sciences, child and youth development, or family studies.
Candidates must have a valid driver's license.
Demonstrate specific training in human growth and development, coupled with strong interpersonal skills such as communication skills, teamwork, leadership, empathy, cultural sensitivity and conflict resolution, and customer service, to name a few. Be a positive role model, fostering supportive interactions with youth, volunteers, and community members.
