Key Responsibilities:
-Perform inspections and determine necessary repairs for dealership vehicles.
- Replace vehicle parts such as bumpers, fenders, and panels as needed.
- Prepare surfaces by sanding, masking, and priming for paint jobs.
- Apply paint and finishing touches to meet high dealership standards.
- Clean and polish vehicles, including buffing and waxing.
- Maintain and ensure all tools and equipment are in good working order.
- Communicate with the vehicle lot manager to coordinate repair schedules.
- Keep accurate records of all repairs, parts replaced, and work completed.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a body shop or similar setting.
- Familiarity with painting and part replacement processes.
- Knowledge of the Mitchell Repair Estimating system is ideal.
- Ability to work effectively in a small team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
