Grain Millers Canada Corp is currently seeking for a highly motivated Engineering Designer to join our team located in Yorkton, Saskatchewan.

Our plants are located across North America with our Canadian headquarters in Yorkton, Saskatchewan.

Position Summary:
The Engineering Designer will be responsible for assisting in the designing of high-quality, functional systems that meet specifications, food safety requirements, and project timelines. The Engineering Designer will develop and formalize drafted design solutions, both in-house and in partnership with contracted providers. This position will also be responsible for updating and curating design records and drawings. This position will be responsible for troubleshooting IT-related issues.

Core Responsibilities:
Develop innovative solutions to engineering problems and challenges
Manage and maintain facility drawings and models
Procurement and management of outside design/drafting services and holding them accountable to company standards
Lead design reviews and influence project direction
Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives and process optimization, departmentally and company-wide, as required.
Drawing System Management.
Assistance across the location with minor IT troubleshooting
