Key responsibilities include:
Supervisory duties: Possess a demonstrated ability to train and supervise others effectively. Develop employees by managing performance, ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships.
Organizational duties: Adhere to the Vulnerable Persons Act, Residential Care Licensing standards, Choice.Passion.Life. Support Services INC. Policy and Procedures, and all other pertinent legislation. Responsible for ensuring the delivery of appropriate and effective programming and services, including assessments and ongoing implementation of person-centered plans.
Administrative duties: Maintain records and documentation ensuring confidentiality, budget development and management, participate in meetings, and support policy and procedure development.

Strong knowledge and demonstration of the guidelines of the Protection of Persons in Care Act
In addition, successful candidates will have:
Minimum 5 years' experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities or similar role with one year spent in a supervisory role
Valid certification in First aid and CPR
Valid Class 5 drivers license and access to an insured vehicle.
Clear criminal record and vulnerable Sector check
Crises prevention and Violence prevention training
