Description

The Snow Removal Technician is responsible for working independently or as a team member under the direct supervision of the Landscape Foreman and Manager.  You will be responsible for clearing snow from driveways, walkways and other customer requested areas in a timely and efficient manner of various residential and commercial properties in the Regina and out lining areas.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Operate a snow blower and snow shovel to clear snow from assigned residential properties, which require early morning starts, extended hours and weekend duties including holidays.
2. Respond in a timely manner (within 1 hour) when called to begin clearing.
3. Ensure the customer areas of clearing have been adequately and safely cleared for use in a reasonable amount of time.
4. Perform routine equipment maintenance and repair as needed or alert management to equipment repairs in a timely manner.
5. Monitor weather forecasts and attend to customer properties for all types of snow removal and ice removal duties (blowing snow, de-icing, snow fall).
6. Follow all safey rules, poclicies and regulations.  Able to work independently with Minimal supervision is an asset.
7. Must be punctual and reliable with a can-do attitude.
8. Keep accurate timesheet records and paperwork.
9. Perform other tasks or projects assigned/instructed by foreman.

Minimum Training and Experience:
Must be at least 18 years of age, high school diploma or equivalent, prior responsible work experience or any combination of education and experience that provides knowledge, skills and abilities.  Applicant must possess a reliable vehicle and a valid Saskatchewan Drivers License and be fully insurable by The Classic Landscape Company's liability policy.
