Responsibilities:
Assembling and installing mechanical components, such as engines, motors, and hydraulics, for landscaping and disposal equipment.
Conducting routine maintenance tasks and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure proper functionality.
Modifying and customizing machinery based on specific needs, such as adjusting cutting heights or installing specialized attachments for disposal activities.
Inspecting assembled equipment to ensure it meets quality standards and adheres to safety regulations.
Maintaining accurate records of assembly processes, modifications, and maintenance activities.
Working closely with other team members, including landscapers and disposal personnel, to understand equipment requirements and address issues promptly.
Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines during assembly, maintenance, and repair activities to ensure a secure working environment.
Properly using, maintaining, and storing tools and equipment associated with mechanical assembly tasks.
Requirements:
Completion of secondary school.
Previous experience as a Mechanical Assembler or in a similar role is preferred.
You are entitled to overtime pay for hours worked more than 40 hours per week and/or more than 8 hours per day will be paid at 1.5 x the hourly rate of pay.
You will be entitled to 3 weeks annual vacation which is calculated on your earnings at a rate of 5.77%.
