The Female EXCEL Program Manager is responsible for leading and developing the high-performance female soccer program. This role involves creating and implementing a comprehensive training program, fostering a winning culture, and guiding athletes towards their full potential. The successful candidate will possess exceptional coaching expertise, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of soccer development principles.
The Saskatchewan Soccer Association is committed to fostering female leadership in high-performance sports. While this position is open to all qualified candidates, preference will be given to candidates with experience in women's soccer.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive training program aligned with the SSA's high-performance philosophy and the CSA's Long Term Player Development (LTPD) model.
Recruit, select, and develop high-performance athletes to represent the Saskatchewan Soccer Association.
Create and maintain a positive and competitive team culture that emphasizes discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Recruit and monitor assistant coaches of the program.
Analyze team performance and implement strategies to improve results.
Collaborate with the Director of Soccer Operations, and the Excel Male Head Coach and other staff to achieve organizational goals.
Represent the SSA at various events and functions.
Manage and maintain equipment and facilities and field bookings.
Manage the Excel Female Budget
Qualifications:
Minimum Canada B License or Diploma, Canada A License or Diploma is preferred.
Proven coaching experience at a high-performance level.
Strong knowledge of soccer tactics, techniques, and player development.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate and inspire athletes.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel for competitions & Training Camps
