Quint Development is seeking a Site Supervisor to work in their social enterprise division. Quint is a community economic development organization that seeks to work with individuals that have faced barriers to entering and staying in the labour market.

The Site Supervisor oversees work on site from start to end. Strong leadership and communication skills allow you to run a team, train and mentor crew, identify issues as they arise, and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the satisfaction of our customers.

40 hours (Mon-Fri), Blue Cross, RRSP matching, from $29.64 based on experience and suitability.

DUTIES:
-Oversee projects from start to end while monitoring compliance with safety and building regulations.
-Apply safe-work standards to minimize incidents
-Train, mentor, supervise and evaluate performance of crew
-Work in collaboration with Project Supervisor to ensure projects are completed on-time, on-budget and to the satisfaction of the customer
-Labour including loading and unloading materials, tools and equipment required to complete construction projects
-Other duties as required

SKILLS:
-Expertise in monitoring project costs & budgets
-Advanced planning, and time management skills
-Proven problem solver
-Strong communication and relationship-building skills

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:    
-Completion of a construction training program or equivalent experience in construction or project management would be an asset
-Experience with procurement, scheduling, industry practices and standards
-Understands issues faced by marginalized people with barriers to employment
