LEN'S HAULING IS LOOKING FOR A HAND PICKUP CREW MEMBER

Lens is looking for a member of our Hand Pickup Crew. You will mainly be responsible for picking up garbage from job sites. The Laborer must also deal with residents and members of the public in a courteous and respectful manner. You will also be responsible for driving to the job sites using a Super Duty Truck and Trailer. Experience, driving and backing up with a trailer will be an asset (especially in tight places).

Communication with our clients is very important. The crew member will communicate with the client to ensure their satisfaction for the quality of service. Any issues conveyed by the clients will be made note of.

Responsibilities

Assist with the collection, disposal and cleanup of garbage.

Main Activities

Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient way  
Clean trucks as scheduled and/or required
Maintain daily records of jobs for customers
Pick up and dispose of garbage according to set policies and procedures
Ensure equipment and tools are stored in a safe and secure place
Clean and make minor repairs to equipment and tools
Ensure that company buildings and facilities are maintained in a clean and orderly manner
Perform other related duties as required

Skills

Must possess a Class 5 Saskatchewan Divers License
Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
Ability to read and write and communicate in English to maintain daily records and logs
Oversee the condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes and other equipment
