Description

Cap-It Yorkton, a member of the Key Auto Group, is seeking an energetic, organized and customer-focused Store Manager. This position directs the operations of both Yorkton Cap-It Truck Accessories Store and the Key Auto Group Detail Centre. The Store Manager provides superior customer service, maintains inventory control, ensures business profitability, oversees staff and works collaboratively with all business units belonging to the Key Auto Group.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

CUSTOMER SERVICE
*Create and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers
*Manage customer appointments and ensure appropriate time is set aside for job completion
*Display fairness, honesty and integrity in all customer interactions

INVENTORY CONTROL
*Minimize customer comebacks by maintaining high standards in the installation of products and the detailing of vehicles
*Monitor product sales and ensure in-demand products are in-stock
*Control showroom inventory to ensure maximum sales
*Return or minimize obsolete parts in stock
*Manage and organize parts returns
*Complete perpetual Parts inventory and ongoing inventory counts

OPERATIONS & MANAGEMENT
*Reconcile cash daily and perform monthly close out procedures
*Ensure cleanly presentation of showroom
*Authorize payment of invoices
*Assign work to employees as required
*Liaise with Human Resources Department regarding staffing needs, employee concerns and training gaps

SALES
*Meet or exceed monthly sales targets
*Develop marketing strategies in collaboration with Marketing Department
*Monitor budget related to Sales, Margin and Expense

SAFETY
*Enforce company safety policies and lead by example

Our ideal candidate will have 3-5 years' experience in the automotive industry, vocational training in automobile maintenance and repair, knowledge of business administration, and strong leadership and communication skills. Knowledge of Quickbooks software is an asset.
