Description

The Grenfell Athletic Association (GAA), in conjunction with the Town of Grenfell, is accepting contract tenders for a GAA lobby facility caretaker for the 2024-2025 winter season. This tender is strongly
encouraged but not required to be made in combination with the Ice Caretaker Position. This position will be roughly 20 hours per week and will work very closely with the Town of Grenfells designated
caretaker. Tenders for this position will be accepted until September 6, 2024. The position commences approx. September 12, 2024 and ends March 31, 2025. The successful applicant will report to the GAA
Board; and work alongside the Town of Grenfell Caretaker to ensure building cleanliness during non Town of Grenfell work hours and facility busy hours. Areas of work will include but not limited to the
cleaning of the upstairs lobby, downstairs lobby, arena entrance, dressing rooms, facility washrooms, canteen grill and deep fryer, canteen general areas, spectator stands and player benches. Applicant will also be responsible for the daily opening of the facility on certain days of the week. Applicant must be motivated and able to work unsupervised. Successful applicant will be required to submit a criminal record check.

Preference given to applicants submitting a combined tender for the Arena and Lobby Caretaker Positions
The amount of the contract tender
Level of experience
Qualifications
References
