We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Maintenance Technician and Coordinator. As a Maintenance Technician and Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing maintenance activities, managing service requests, and overseeing the general upkeep of our premises. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Maintenance Technician and Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of custodial and facilities maintenance of two supportive living home facilities and our main office.
Job Duties:
Cleaning and sanitizing according to cleaning schedule and instructions and documenting as needed.
Manage regular maintenance of equipment furniture and fixtures of both homes and in our main office.
General home maintenance and minor repairs.
Supervise and facilitate training of general home maintenance to clients residing in the homes.
Participate in community building such as shoveling, lawn mowing and general small repairs for neighborhood as part of like skills facilitation for clients residing in the homes.
Inspecting buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues.
Repairing faulty equipment units and damaged structures.
Developing and implementing preventative maintenance procedures.
Managing heating and plumbing systems to guarantee functionality.
Planning and scheduling repairs.
Conducting periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard.
Performing general maintenance tasks including landscaping, painting, and carpentry.
Helping develop and implement the budget for the maintenance department.
Maintaining the inventory records for equipment and supplies.
