We provide top quality work to the Government of Saskatchewan, various municipalities, First Nations and the private sector. Day to day operations include excavation, earth moving, site development, aggregate production, and paving.
We are currently looking for experienced OPERATORS for work on projects around Saskatchewan.
Job Details:
- Must prioritize safety of self and others in all aspects of the job
- 3 years experience operating excavator in earth moving/construction setting.
-experience with loading rock trucks efficiently and productively.
- experience with road construction, slopes and finishing work.
- Demonstrate skill in the identification of key hazards and use of strategies to work safely, such as; stability of soils, edges, excavations, stability of machine, and awareness of position, clearance, safe movement, other machinery/vehicles/workers
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment
- Clean, lubricate and refill equipment as necessary
- Ensure a sound understanding of the issues involving ground disturbance
- Complete all work reports and maintenance logs
- Overtime available.
- Accommodation provided if working away from home.
- Meal allowance if working away from home.
- Health and Dental after 3 months.
What you need:
- Past proven experience in road building or site development.
- The ability to lay material to finish grade.
- Be able to work long hours.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Responsibility for yourself and others in a safety conscious environment.
- You must be physically fit for duty and able to lift up to 50lbs.
