Now Hiring: Mower Operator(s)
The Rural Municipality of Reford No. 379 has temporary, full-time positions available for Mower Operators (Equipment Operator) until approximately October 31,2024. You will perform a variety of duties including operating a tractor and mower to cut grass on roadsides and ditches including brush control, avoiding hazards such as rocks and culverts; perform maintenance and minor repairs of unit, as well as other related duties. The ability to deal with the public effectively and courteously is required.  

The ideal candidate would have the following:
    High School Diploma is required.
    Knowledge and experience in the operation of medium-duty vehicles including sprayers and tractors.
     Mechanically inclined.
     Experience using heavy equipment required.
     Farm experience is preferred.
     Valid Class 5 Drivers License. Upon hire, a current Drivers Abstract and satisfactory driving record must be provided.

The position includes:
A competitive wage commensurate with experience.  Work hours, as required, based on a 50 hour/week (10 hours/day; 5 days/week) schedule.
