Description

As Production Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring that production meets the required volume and quality targets, delivering blended products that satisfy both customer and business requirements. Your role focuses on optimizing operational performance while maintaining safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety: Lead by example to promote a proactive safety culture, ensuring compliance with all SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) regulations.
Operational Excellence (BOPEX): Use OPI data to drive process improvements, develop KPIs, and apply Continuous Improvement (CI) techniques to optimize quality, cycle times, and utility usage. Facilitate daily CI meetings with the team.
Quality, Food Safety & Customer Service: Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and meet customer specifications right the first time. Lead continuous improvement efforts in malt quality and build strong customer relationships.
Environmental Stewardship: Ensure operations align with environmental impact standards and sustainability goals, striving for year-over-year improvements.
People Management: Provide leadership, coaching, and development to staff. Assess performance, identify training needs, and follow up on development plans.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a food-related industry, ideally with knowledge of malting and brewing.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Bio-Chemical Engineering, Agricultural Sciences, or related fields.
- Experience with Continuous Improvement tools, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt is advantageous.
- Fluent in English with strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

This role requires after-hours availability and periodic weekend shifts.
