Description

The Outlook Housing Authority (OHA) is currently recruiting a part-time (0.6 FTE) Administrative Assistant to join their team.  If you have excellent organizational skills, are able to multitask, and thrive in a team environment, we have a position that may be of interest to you!  

In this front-line administrative position, you will:
- Respond to inquiries related to housing programs and services, including incoming calls and walk-in traffic
- Enter applicant and tenant data, ensuring accurate and current information is maintained
- Complete move-ins and move-outs with tenants as required, and provide occasional support in preparing units for occupancy or showing
- Maintain general office, tenant, and rental until file systems
- Provide administrative support to the manager as required or assigned, including coverage when the manager is out of the office
- Receive payments, issue receipts, and prepare bank deposits and invoices for payment
- Assist with month-end processing and reporting

What we're looking for:
- Efficient with Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of basic office and accounting procedures
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and provide professional service to clients/customers

What you'll need:
- Grade 12 or equivalent (some post-secondary in business administration would be an asset)
- Overall knowledge of all office systems and procedures
- Recognition of, and respect for people's diversity and individual differences
- A valid driver's license and use of own vehicle
- An approved Criminal Record Check will be required
