The Role
In this role you will demonstrate your aptitude for data analysis and passion for building relationships. Reporting to the manager, business intelligence, technical services, you will identify project controls-related issues and devise practical solutions for improvement, ultimately better enabling data-informed decisions. You will have the opportunity to work a hybrid work schedule with regular weekly presence in the Saskatoon office.
In this role, you will:
-Evaluate project controls quality, scrutinizing cost and schedule performance data and working with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies or gaps.
-Coach and mentor project teams on best practices and use of systems.
-Communicate with team members sharing insights, findings, and best practices to improve alignment between project, support teams and leadership
-Work with the business intelligence team to improve controls-related insights and reporting
Required:
-Degree in a related field (business administrations, finance, data science, risk management)
-Experience in one or more project controls disciplines with an understanding of integrated project controls and use of project management systems
-Eight or more years of progressive industry experience
-Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
Recommended:
-Industry-related certification such as PMP, CCP, AACE
-Estimating experience
