We are currently looking to add new cooks to our team, for both full and part-time positions
Some of the responsibilities of this job are:
-Prepare food based on the company guidance and customer needs
-Prepares food before the arrival of guests
-Makes adjustments to food items to accommodate guests with allergies or specific diet concerns
-Cleans food preparation areas and equipment as determined by the law and company policy
-Operates various kitchen appliances such as a blender, oven, grill, or stand mixer
-Prepare and portion food based on company recipes and guidance
-Assists other cooks during the food preparation process
-Estimates expected food consumption and organizes preparation
-Butchers and cook animal meat, vegetables, grains, seeds and other known allergens
-Prepares any necessary sauces or accompaniments before meal service begins
Requirements
-Experience working in the food industry is highly recommended but we are willing to train the right candidate
-Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
-Must be legally allowed to work in Canada to be considered for this position
-Availability to work morning, afternoon, evening and weekends is considered an asset
-Must possess a valid Provincial food handle certificate
-Must have a reliable method of transportation to and from work
