Description

We are currently seeking a meticulous and dedicated Quality Control Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough tests and inspections to ensure that our products consistently meet our rigorous quality standards.

Job Position: Quality Control Technician (NOC 22302)
Company: Canada Golden Cooking Oil Ltd.  
Location: 1605 Caribou St. E, Moose Jaw, SK, S6H 4Y4  
Start Date: Immediate  
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent  
Wage: $40.00/hour, 35 hours/week  
Overtime Wage: $60.00/hour for hours exceeding 40 per week or 8 per day
Benefits: 3 weeks of paid vacation per year  

Responsibilities:
    Test and inspect products at various stages of production to ensure compliance with quality standards.
    Document inspection results by completing detailed reports and performance records.
    Collaborate with production and engineering teams to communicate inspection outcomes.
    Compile, interpret, and present quality statistical data.
    Improve and maintain quality control operating procedures.
    Identify and troubleshoot product quality issues.
    Develop and conduct production, inventory, and quality assurance programs.
    Inspect processes and oversee production to ensure quality and efficiency.
    Design plant layouts and production facilities.
    Develop and carry out health, safety, and fire prevention plans.
    Conduct safety training programs.
    Develop manufacturing and processing procedures.
    Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports.
    Participate in internal audits as required.

Qualifications:
    Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
    Experience: at least 1 year of relevant experience.
    Comprehensive knowledge of quality control procedures and legal standards.
    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
