What youll do: Reporting to the Grocery Manager, the successful candidate will:
Be responsible for coordinating the sales staff in the grocery store; including handling administrative and support functions with all team members;
Be responsible for engaging team members to ensure guest services standards are consistent in the store;
Be responsible for providing guidance, complying with company policies, and delegating tasks to team members;
Be knowledgeable with products and their sources;
Be proactive in maintaining location image;
Be expected to deliver excellent customer service and drive customer loyalty;
Come to work with a positive, professional approach and attitude;
Provide information, assistance and service to customers in a manner which will promote the sale of merchandise and meet their needs;
Stock and rotate products on display;
Be familiar with and adhere to Meadow Lake Co-op policies and procedures;
Other duties as assigned.
Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:
You have a grade 12 education.
You have minimum of 1-year experience.
Youre familiar with working in the retail\grocery industry will be considered an asset.
Youre honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
You have strong work ethic and team player attitude.
