Description

Reporting to the Facility Manager at St. Thomas More College, the Casual (as required) Caretaker will provide proactive cleaning services, with a focus on exceeding the expectations of students, faculty, administration, and visitors. Performs cleaning tasks as assigned, includes but not limited to cleaning washrooms (and all related fixtures), common areas, cleaning floors (use of dry and wet mops, brooms, vacuum cleaners, automatic scrubbing machines and other related equipment). Provides cleaning services in other areas as required to cover absences of other caretaking staff. Reports building deficiencies. Secures the building after hours. Provides efficient, courteous customer service to the St. Thomas More College community and visiting public when circumstances require. Other duties as assigned.
