Description

The Rural Municipality of Val Marie No. 17 invites applications for the position of Seasonal (Non-Permanent) Utility Operator.

Duties of the Utility Operator typically include: operation of equipment (tractor, front end loader, mowers, mulchers, graders, rock picker, backhoe), sign and culvert maintenance, general road repair, building & equipment maintenance.

Preference will be given to applicants who can demonstrate previous experience with: road maintenance, operating equipment (commercial or agricultural), or have mechanical aptitudes. Contact the municipal office for a detailed job description.
Applications will be accepted until a suitable applicant has been found. This position is a non-permanent, seasonal position - paid hourly.

This is an ideal position for a student or someone who is looking for an entry level position.
