We are currently recruiting an assistant to provide day-to-day support for our Financial Advisors in an established financial planning practice. The role involves supporting sales and service objectives by delivering service to our clients (e.g. preparing and maintaining client documentation, administering and maintain client account files, preparing documents and presentations) that meets or exceeds their needs. You must have meticulous attention to detail, possess a positive attitude, and have excellent interpersonal skills. The successful candidate must also be responsible, confident, self-motivated and a team player.
Requirements:
Post-secondary education in a related field, CSC, CIFC or IFC is an asset
A minimum of 2 years experience in financial services
Advanced knowledge of investment processes and procedures is a must (i.e. RRSP, RRIF, TFSA, mutual funds and life insurance)
Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness
Highly organized and deadline driven
Great analytical skills
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Customer service focused
Strong knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
Ability to grasp concepts quickly and complete timely follow-through
