Description

McClure Place is a seniorss independent living complex that is hiring immediately for a position in maintenance.
This is a part-time (32 hrs/wk) position.
The ideal candidate will have a superior work ethic and ability to work individually and a team.
Should possess strong decision making and problem-solving skills. Must be able to work efficiently and effectively with the residents and their requests for maintenance.
The key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    General property and building maintenance tasks
    Performs and/or assists with minor maintenance and repairs to premises and fixtures.
    Demonstrate skills in minor home renovations, basic carpentry, plumbing and electrical.
    Property landscaping, seasonal maintenance of sidewalks, snow and ice removal (use of power and hand tools)
Working conditions may include bending, crouching, kneeling and reaching above head and heavy lifting.

Be able to work in a safe manner and follow all policies and procedures.

Must be able to clear vulnerable sector criminal records check.

Perfect job for a retired or semi-retired.
