Organization
The SCPT regulates physical therapists in SK. SCPTs mandate is to protect the public by ensuring competent, safe and ethical practice by physical therapists in Saskatchewan.

Job Description
The Professional Conduct Committee (PCC) reviews and investigates complaints regarding members
A public member of the PCC provides their perspective to matters under review of the PCC
Prepare in advance, attend, participate constructively and thoughtfully in PCC meetings
Provide perspective in relation to the public interest when applying regulations

Job Requirements
Experience in comprehension and understanding of Acts, Regulation, and Bylaws
Demonstrated ability to apply sound judgment and maintain confidentiality
Ability to maintain objectivity and focus on professional obligations
Participating in meetings without bias and absent of personal opinions
Time and availability must be flexible, sometimes on short notice
Background and/or experience in legislation, law, or regulatory compliance is preferred
Regulatory experience is an asset

Remuneration
Compensation is on a meeting stipend rate.  If travel is required travel expenses are paid by the SCPT

Hours and time commitment are variable
The PCC meets every 4-6 weeks for 1-2 hours
Some meeting preparation is required
Meetings are held in the evenings or weekends
