Description

Xtended Hydraulics & Machine is a privately owned Indigenous business based in Emerald Park, SK. Specializing in hydraulic cylinder manufacturing, product development, and custom machining Our products are designed for use in the toughest conditions within the mining, utilities, and oil & gas industries, reflecting our commitment to reliability and durability.

Responsibilities include:
Reviewing production schedules, processes, specifications, and related information.
Managing and prioritizing work according to deliveries and customer requests
Designing production processes that maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
Developing and implementing process improvements and technological upgrades.
Designing control systems to minimize costs and production issues.
Preparing material and equipment lists, purchase orders, cost analyses, and estimated production costs.
Managing process documentation and preparing production reports.
Review test data, customer requirements, design calculations etc. to assure cylinders will perform as intended in the application
Must participate in root cause analysis and team problem solving activities
Will be required to troubleshoot and aid on the production floor as needed
Continually move forward with automation such as installing and working with robotic arms, etc.
Communicating with customers and meeting the project needs in a satisfactory manner, ensuring that all concerns and inquiries are addressed promptly and effectively. This includes providing regular updates on project progress, managing expectations, and resolving any issues that arise to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and project success.

Education and Experience:
Post-Secondary Degree, either mechanical or industrial with a P.Eng designation
Qualified candidate must have a Canadian Citizenship or Permanent residency; Pass a security assessment and provide a criminal record check due to military controlled Goods designation.
