Description

The Systems Administrator (SA) will assist in the support, maintenance and monitoring of servers and network infrastructure taking a proactive approach to resolve and identify network performance issues using industry monitoring tools.
Job Responsibilities:
Supports networking plant equipment, network infrastructure, servers, and hardware.
Analysis system hardware and software and develops proactive technical solutions, identify, resolve, and track technical problems with a sense of urgency and ownership, and, install system software, patches and upgrades as required on servers, switches, firewalls.
Recommends upgrades, patches and new applications and equipment.
Troubleshoots and repairs network connectivity issues, performs system backups and recovery.
Assists and maintains servers and network infrastructure to consistently reduce down time, monitors network devices and servers health using industry tools.
Deploys new server, hardware, and software as needed, implements and supports all systems, applications, security and network configurations.
Provides day to day technical support and guidance to non-technical users both in house and remotely.
Other duties as assigned.
Customer Service:
Provide superior day to day customer service and guidance to nontechnical users on site and remotely via phone and help desk system.
Provide technical support and training to users as needed in software and in-house systems.
Create user accounts and manage access levels based on Company policies.
Partner with Human Resources on the set up and IT On Boarding of new employees.
Administration:
Create tracking system and maintain documentation for operations, resolutions, users and software.
Maintain inventory of Software Licensing.
Provide reporting to IT Manager on performance trend issues.
