Grounds Crew Supervisor

The Yorkton Exhibition Association is seeking a dedicated and experienced Grounds Crew Supervisor to lead our grounds and grounds crew team. The ideal candidate is hard-working, organized, thrives in a team environment and has a passion for people and agriculture!  

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily operations including grounds maintenance, facility setup and takedown, equipment maintenance and general repairs.
- Supervise the seasonal grounds crew.
- Maintain an inventory of equipment and supplies.
- Conduct regular inspections of the grounds to identify and address issues promptly.
- Collaborate with YEA Team to prepare and set up grounds for various events.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in all aspects of grounds maintenance.

Requirements:

- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.  
- Experience in operations grounds maintenance equipment and tools.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks as required.
- Valid drivers license and ability to operate a variety of vehicles and equipment.
- Able to work flexible hours, including flexible hours during events.
