Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.
Strengthen dealer and user relationships to promote, recommend, and optimize HORSCH products and solutions, while also addressing current agronomic trends within the designated territory.
Provide specialized infield assistance to help dealers and users maximize machine operations and enhance technical knowledge through structured training programs
Supporting the product development process and prototypes during the transition to series production. Diagnosing faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.
Adjust equipment and repair or place defective parts, components, or systems, using hand and power tools.
Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment.
Responsible for retrofit programs, technical updates, and preparation of documentation.
Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturer's specifications.
May attach components and adjust new farm equipment as well as repair work on heavy equipment.


REQUIRED SKILLS:
Experience with AG equipment and service functions is necessary.
Knowledge of the AG industry and dealer networks is required.
Strong technical acumen including electronics and precision farming.
Technical education or technical work experience.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills mostly in English.
Self-starter, ambitious & motivated with the ability to work in a team.
Advanced computer skills such as Microsoft Office Suite

EDUCATION:
Related post-secondary education (Business, Agriculture, and/or other relevant fields or trades); or
Equivalent combination of education and related industry experience.


TRAVEL:
Possible annual or semi-annual travel to Germany and the USA.
Valid drivers license and passport
Experience: 2 years or more
