Vderstad is seeking a skilled Production Engineer to join our dynamic team at our Langbank Production Facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and support our manufacturing processes. This role involves close collaboration with production teams to ensure that Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements are met.

Education/Experience

University degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
Relevant manufacturing/engineering degree and registered or able to register with APEGS
Membership of an Industry Related Professional body an asset
Able to demonstrate experience of working within a manufacturing environment.
Strong working knowledge of, Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
Core Competencies

Ability to work independently and co-operatively within a team
Good problem-solving and communication skills
Mechanical aptitude
Ability to run a variety of tools
Ability to understand the assembly process
Ability to focus on details
