The Patron Services Associate maintains positive customer relationships by utilizing exemplary customer service skills, as well as knowledge of Box Office/Front of House (FOH) and company policies and procedures to ensure optimal customer experience. They are on front line interacting with/assisting patrons and volunteers during shows and rentals.
Duties will include:
Providing the highest level of customer service & attention
Ensuring all ticket requests & subscriptions are handled promptly
Addressing patron accessibility, questions & needs
Preparing daily reports & accurate reconciliation of box office receipts, sales & cash
Preparing tickets for distribution leading up to show times
Serving customers at the bar/concession pre-show and intermission
Answering customer questions with accuracy & confidence
Preparing concession/bar pre-orders with efficiency & accuracy
Providing tours & guidance to interested patrons
Checking & restocking consumables & cups
Must be able to bend and lift up to 20 lbs
Checking & restocking bathroom supplies; sanitizing tables & bathroom taps
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Able to build & maintain positive relationships
Excellent customer service & phone skills
Able to demonstrate sound judgement, integrity & ethical behaviour
Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends & holidays, as needed
Skilled in data entry & operating computer systems
Highly motivated self-starter & hard worker with a high energy level
Willingness to work hands on in assisting customers & staff
Bondable & trustworthy with cash
Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
1-2 years equivalent combination of training and experience
Must be 19 years or older in order to work with FOH
