Description

REACT requires a permanent, part-time Transfer Station Gate Attendant at our Transfer Station site located in St. Brieux. Hours for this position are

May 1st - October 31st
Tuesdays from 1:00-5:00 pm

November 1st - April 30th
EVEN Tuesday from 1:00 - 5:00

Optional addition of Saturday shift, year round 8:00am - 5:00pm (closed over noon)

We are looking to fill this position ASAP.

Duties include:  
- Supervision of site and operating to permit and regulations according to the Ministry of Environment
- Directing waste to appropriate disposal area & collecting fees
- Good communication skills
- Individual must follow direction & work as a team
- Critical thinking & decision making
- Accurate record keeping

No experience necessary. Will train.
Requires a valid class 5 driver's license.
