Description

An Integrated and Wholistic Approach to Health Care Delivery
Located on Treaty 4 Territory in the beautiful QuAppelle Valley, the All Nations Healing Hospital (ANHH) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook to join the team.

Reporting to the Head Cook, this position works as part of an interdisciplinary team and will be responsible for organizing, producing, and distributing food and beverages for the acute care patients, staff, and visitors at All Nations Healing Hospital. Prepares and monitors special diets (e.g., diabetic, low calorie, gluten free, allergy diets, baby formulas, tube feedings, thicken fluids, low fat). Develops and modifies menus as dictated by product availability. Reads menus, recipes, food preparation methods. Develops, tests, and adjusts recipes. Prioritizes food preparation and cooking tasks. Ensures Quality Control of food production. Monitors food production and service standards. Serves meals, cleans, and sanitizes work area, equipment, floors, tables.

We are looking for an individual who is interested in joining a highly functioning team. The successful candidate must be available to work both weekend and weekday shifts.

Qualifications

Journeyperson Cook certificate.
Food Safe certificate
WHIMIS Basic computer skills
Demonstrated knowledge, respect, and understanding of First Nations culture and traditions.
Interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently.
