Reillys Construction I a reputable construction company dedicated to delivering high-quality craftsmanship and exceptional service. We are looking for a motivated and reliable Carpenter Assistant to join our dynamic team and support our skilled carpenters on various projects.

**Job Description:**
As a Carpenter Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting our carpenters with day-to-day tasks on job sites. Your responsibilities will include preparing and maintaining work areas, handling tools and materials, and performing basic carpentry tasks under the guidance of experienced carpenters. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your carpentry skills and grow within our company.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist carpenters with cutting, shaping, and assembling wood, plywood, and other materials.
- Prepare and maintain work areas, ensuring tools and materials are organized and accessible.
- Load and unload materials and tools, ensuring they are handled safely.
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform basic carpentry tasks such as sanding, drilling, and finishing.
- Support the team with other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications:**
- High school grade 10.
- Previous experience in construction or carpentry is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of carpentry tools and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret basic plans and measurements.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced carpenters.
