Description

We are looking for a Farm Equipment Operator for our grain and cattle farm starting as soon as possible.

This is a full-time permanent positions. Work hours will vary depending on the season

Job Duties:
Operate large farm equipment
Apply pesticides, herbicide, and fertilizer to crops; seed, maintain, and harvest crops;
Perform equipment and machinery maintenance including winter maintenance;
Assist with the storage and the transportation of harvested crops;
Assist with taking care of cattle, when required;
Assisting with general facility and equipment maintenance

Requirements:
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in grain farming
No formal education is required
Must be familiar with North American large farming equipment (air seeder, combine, sprayer) including operating and maintenance
Must be able to work on their own
Non-smoker
Must have a valid driver's license
Class 1A will be an asset, but not required
Previous experience working with cattle will be an asset, but not required
Must be able to long work hours during seeding and harvest.
Must speak English (this is our language at work).

This is a work in rural location near the town of Sceptre, SK.

Wage is $27.00 per hour. Wage might be reviewed depending on experience. No additional benefits are provided.

We have a housing available for rent. Vehicle can also be provided for work use.
