Established in 1976 the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies (SIIT) is a First Nation governed post-secondary institution. The Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing the Indigenous Practical Nursing (IPN) program within SIIT locations across Saskatchewan and First Nation communities. The incumbent is responsible for the coordination of programs from start to finish, including administration and financial budgeting, program development, monitoring, as well as, recruitment and management of instructors and students, and completing evaluations. This position will be responsible for planning, coordinating and managing all trainings for the Indigenous Practical Nursing (IPN) program.

Required Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor of Science in Nursing with active/practicing Registered Nurse (RN) status. RN with a Master's degree or Master's degree in progress is an asset. Must be a member in good standing with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan. Knowledge of the role and scope of practice of the Licensed Practical Nurse is required. Experience in a supervisory role is required. Minimum 5 years' clinical practice experience in medical-surgical, pediatrics/labor and delivery, and/or long term care/residential settings is required. As this position is considered safety sensitive, the incumbent will be subject to testing as per SIIT's Alcohol and Substances policy.
