The Role
This position is responsible for operating on-site cranes, which will include the following:
-50-ton Tadano
-Broaderson Carry Decks
-8-ton spider crane
-Numerous overhead cranes of different sizes

In this role, you will:
-be responsible for operating a variety of mobile equipment to maintain the site, roads, and airport in a safe and effective manner.
-prepare equipment for maintenance and collaborate with others to improve work practices.
-assist in training and monitoring junior operators and provide support to other trades on site

Required:  
-Valid Saskatchewan or Interprovincial Journeyperson Red Seal Mobile Crane Operator
-At least seven (7) years of progressive experience in heavy industry or industrial environment, including crane and hoisting operator
-Must have proficient experience with large mobile equipment
-Valid Class 1A drivers licence
-Experience on dozer, grader, loaders, excavator, and rock truck
-Mechanically inclined (knowledge of equipment and hand tools)
-MD training modules
-Willingness to perform manual labour as required
-Safety-oriented team player with excellent communication and organizational skills
-Must be proficient with using computers, including the Microsoft Office suite
-Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft

Recommended:
-Certified trainer for rigging and hoisting
-Previous lead hand or supervisory experience
-ACI (American Concrete Institute) Certification
-Previous experience with SAP
