Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Senior Mechanical Engineer provides a lead technical role to manage and implement complex mechanical engineering projects for a wide variety of clients from various industries.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced engineering services related to design, and construction of prototype machines, including drawings of components and systems
- Perform advanced computer aided design, simulation and analysis
- Guide, mentor, and train engineers
- Provide expertise and leadership for field and lab tests
- Assemble, prepare, install, calibrate, maintain, evaluate and operate machines being tested in the field and lab
- Collect, analyze, document and store test data
- Provide reports, meet project milestones, assess risks and issues

Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma (in Mechanical Engineering, or other related discipline) with a minimum of 10 years experience
- Possess strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage at a variety of management levels and with a range of audiences
- Developed interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build collaborative relationships with colleagues, contractors and clients.
