Description

The Rural Municipality of Miry Creek No.229 is now accepting applications for the position of Public Works Foreman. The successful applicant will work closely with the Administrator and RM Council and will oversee day to day work activities of the roads and employees. The applicant will provide a variety of public works operations including operating heavy equipment. The position offers a fair wage based on experience with a comprehensive benefit package. A probation period shall apply. Duties include but are not limited to directing outside personnel, overseeing and operating the grading and constructing of roads, trucking, mowing, snow removal, installation of signs and culverts, equipment servicing and other duties. Candidates must have, at minimum, a valid Class 5 Licence, however preference will be given to applicants with a Class 1A Licence
