Custodian

Full-Time Permanent

Muskoday First Nation, SK

We are currently recruiting for a Custodian to work as part of a team dedicated to the treatment and success of youth in our care. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Custodian is responsible for performing custodial duties to ensure the White Buffalo Treatment Centre grounds and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, sanitary, and attractive manner.

The Custodian is responsible for janitorial work, assisting with grounds keeping, assisting the Maintenance Coordinator with landscaping and snow removal, and other duties as assigned.

Minimal Requirements:

Grade 12 or equivalent and two (2) years of relevant work experience as a custodian. A relevant combination of education and experience will be considered.

A valid class 5 drivers license and a reliable means of getting to work.

Ability to provide a clear criminal and vulnerable sector check.

Physical ability to perform groundskeeping and janitorial duties including snow removal, lawn care, and lifting/carrying heavy objects up to 50 lbs.

Knowledge of custodial methods, materials, and equipment, including the safe use and storage of cleaning chemicals.

Capable of working as a member of a team or individually with minimal supervision.
