Support with toileting, grooming, and appropriate attire for daily activities.
Meal Planning and Preparation:
Plan and prepare nutritious meals and special diets tailored to client needs.
Assist during mealtimes, providing feeding support as needed.
Serve meals and snacks, ensure dietary requirements are met, and follow food safety techniques.
Remove expired items and label food products for safety and organization.
Routine and Housekeeping Tasks:
Maintain a clean, safe environment by handling laundry, dishwashing, and bed-making.
Ensure rooms and common areas are orderly and hygienic, including deep cleaning as needed.
Care and Companionship:
Provide compassionate care and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
Foster supportive relationships, alleviate loneliness, anxiety, or depression, and encourage social interaction and activities.
Monitor and Report Health Changes:
Observe and document changes in clients' health, participate in care planning, and inform the care coordinator of any health updates.
Recreational Activities:
Organize and engage in activities like games and walks to improve clients' quality of life.
Encourage activity and participation in therapeutic activities as advised by healthcare professionals.
One-on-One Care:
Provide individualized attention and respond promptly to clients needs.
Grocery Inventory and Ordering:
Monitor and manage grocery inventory, create lists, and ensure timely restocking.
Stocking Supplies:
Replenish supplies in rooms, change bed sheets, and ensure clean linens are available.
Laundry and Kitchen Duties:
Handle laundry tasks, clean dishes, and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
Organize the kitchen and manage food safety by removing expired items and labeling food products.
