The Street Worker's Advocacy Project (SWAP) is an experientially based non-profit agency that delivers services and programs to sexually exploited youth and youth at-risk, their families, adults involved in the street sex trade, and other marginalized and street involved individuals. The primary responsibility of the Youth Outreach Worker is to create and maintain relationships with vulnerable and/or at-risk youth to enhance their personal, educational, behavioral, developmental, psychological, and emotional growth. The successful incumbent must be knowledgeable of issues impacting vulnerable youth including addictions and sexual exploitation, as well as being a strong advocate and knowledgeable of other community resources and services.
