The Water Security Agency is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join the Flow Forecasting team.

We are looking for a self-starting innovative individual who encourages diering opinions and perspectives and seeks continual improvement. You follow through on commitments and strive to maintain positive, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

As a Engineer FFOP, you will provide professional engineering expertise for forecasting stream ows for internal and external use, and for operation planning of major river systems requiring the real-time analysis, interpretation and distribution of forecasting and operations management information. This employee will also provide support to associated Water Security Agency (WSA) communication activities.

You will analyze and/or assist in the analysis and interpretation of hydrometric and meteorologic data; assist in and/or prepare and distribute stream ow and water supply forecasts; assist in drafting ood alerts and other advisories; and support communications functions related to water supply, water levels, stream ow forecasts and structure operations.

You possess Degree in Civil Engineering or a similar engineering discipline, a license to practice professional engineering from the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS).

This role is subject to a satisfactory criminal record check.
