Reporting to the kotawn Director, this position will oversee the kotawn programs (prevention, support and intervention) to ensure that operational service delivery meets the Muskeg Lake Cree Nation strategic objectives for child and family well-being. This position will work in conjunction with the kht-ayak, Kinship Circle and all Program Managers to ensure integration in planning, development and implementation of the kotawn program. This position will ensure the Protocol with STC Child & Family Services is honored and ensure a positive working relationship with the implementation of the Progressive Funding Model. This position will support the overall financial and program reporting and program planning for the day-to-day operations. The kotawn Assistant Manager will ensure adherence to the practice standards set out in the Muskeg Lake Cree Nation Law, Act, policies, procedures and protocols and any other child and family legislation, policies, standards, directives and guidelines as required.
