The City of Moose Jaw is looking for an energetic individual for a term position through December 31, 2024 to help support our Human Resources team. Reporting to the Director of Human Resource Services, the Human Resource Clerk will coordinate and lead various HR processes primarily focusing on staffing and onboarding. We are looking for someone that is self-motivated, requires minimal supervision and able to multi-task in a fast-paced human resource environment.

This position will perform the following duties:  
-    Coordinate and lead interviewing and assessment of applicants;
-    Conduct onboarding of new staff;
-    Assist as required with employee discipline, performance management and safety related investigations and meetings;
-    Prepare correspondence and memos;
-    Assist in maintaining employee records.

Qualified applicants will possess:
-    Certificate in Human Resources or equivalent;
-    Strong organizational skills;
-    Proven interpersonal skills, verbal and written including ability to communicate effectively with the public and co-workers;
-    Previous experience conducting interviews, onboarding and training would be an asset.
