Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Assistant Team Leader to join the Wine, Spirits, and Beer located in Big River, Saskatchewan.

What you'll do:
Effectively and efficiently manage the development and direction of the reporting team members to maximize operational efficiency
Participate in the development and implementation of business plans that include growth targets and profitability, as well as develop and implement merchandising and marketing initiatives
Provide training to WSB clerk/cashiers for all store duties and for opening and closing procedures
Be familiar with and adhere to Lake Country Co-op policies, such as selling of age restricted items and all government regulations relating to liquor, tobacco, fireworks, and social responsibility
Support and follow the Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures and train Team Members accordingly

Who you are:
You have retail sales experience in a supervisory role: experience in the Co-operative Retailing System (CRS) is preferred
You must be willing to obtain your Serve It Right certification
You have a valid Class 5 drivers license for sporadic day or overnight travel through the trading area for events and training
You have the ability to fulfill the physical job requirements; lift and load product cases 10-20 lbs consistently and 50-75 lbs occasionally, pushing, pulling, crouching, and kneeling
Must be 19 years of age
